- Healthy weight (BMI between 18–30 kg/m²)
- Good overall health with no serious heart, kidney, or liver disease

- No serious lung or breathing problems, including asthma, COPD, or sleep apnea
- Not pregnant or breastfeeding, and no allergy to sedation medications
