  • Age 18 or older
  • One kidney stone that is 2 cm or smaller on imaging
  • Scheduled for primary retrograde intrarenal surgery (a scope-based stone removal procedure)
  • No previous ureteral stent (tube) placed on the side being treated
  • No active urinary tract infection or positive urine culture before surgery
  • Able to take study medications for 7 days before surgery
