Who can take part
- You have been diagnosed with high cholesterol (dyslipidemia) and have either never taken medication for it or stopped treatment at least 1 month ago
- Your LDL cholesterol (the 'bad' cholesterol) is between 2.6 and 4.9 mmol/L (roughly 100–190 mg/dL)
- You have phlegm-dampness symptoms according to traditional Chinese medicine, such as obesity, heaviness in the head, chest tightness, or nausea
- You have at least half of the phlegm-dampness symptoms listed (including tongue or pulse findings if checked by a TCM doctor)
- You are willing and able to follow the treatment plan for the entire study and not withdraw without serious medical reason
