Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • Your fasting LDL cholesterol is between 2.6 and 4.9 mmol/L.
  • You are not currently taking any cholesterol-lowering medication.
  • Your kidney function is above a certain level (eGFR over 30).
  • You do not have a type of high cholesterol that runs in families (familial hypercholesterolemia).
  • You have not had a heart attack or stroke.
