Who can take part

  • You are male and scheduled for robotic-assisted prostate removal surgery
  • Your overall health is stable enough for surgery (ASA score I, II, or III)
  • Your body mass index (BMI) is 40 or less
  • Your kidneys work reasonably well (not in severe kidney disease stage)
  • You have not had kidney surgery before
  • Your heart is not severely weakened or in decompensated failure
