Heart Rate Feedback for First-Episode Psychosis

First Episode Psychosis (FEP)

Who can take part

  • You have been diagnosed with psychosis for less than 5 years and are currently in treatment
  • You are between 18 and 55 years old
  • You have a diagnosis of schizophrenia-spectrum disorder, bipolar disorder, schizoaffective disorder, or depression with psychosis
  • Your symptoms are present but stable enough that you're safe to participate
  • You score at least 7 on a depression screening test
  • You do not have heart, neurological, or diabetes conditions, and an ECG heart test shows your heart is healthy
