Who can take part

  • At least 6 months have passed since your stroke
  • Your stroke affected the left side of your body (left hemiparesis)
  • You can sit upright in a chair for 30 minutes without help
  • Your hand and arm have some ability to move (Brunnstrom stage 4 or higher)
  • You can think clearly and follow directions (score 24+ on memory test)
  • You don't have severe stiffness or tight joints that prevent opening and closing your hand
