Who can take part

  • Child is between 2 months and 59 months old (roughly 2–5 years) at the time of enrollment
  • Child currently has a cough and/or difficulty breathing
  • Child does not have severe warning signs like bluish skin color, gasping, seizures, or unresponsiveness
  • A parent or legal guardian is available, understands the study, and agrees in writing to participate
  • Caregiver can be contacted by phone or other means for a brief follow-up check 7 days after the clinic visit
