Who can take part

  • You are a female between 14 and 17 years old
  • You are currently enrolled in and attending high school
  • You have low iron levels in your blood (hemoglobin below 12 mg/dL and ferritin below 15 μg/L)
  • You do not have other types of anemia like sickle cell disease or thalassemia
  • You do not have chronic diseases that affect how your body uses iron, such as kidney disease
  • You are able to actively participate in the study using a mobile app
