Who can take part

  • Age 25–45 years old
  • Have a molar tooth with a successful root canal (confirmed by X-ray) with no signs of failure
  • Have enough healthy tooth structure left (at least three walls, each 1.5 mm thick or thicker)
  • Tooth must be fully erupted with healthy gums and bone around it
  • At least 20 teeth that bite together properly
  • Good daily oral hygiene habits and able to attend follow-up visits for 24 months
