Study of a new albumin source for low albumin or low blood volume

This trial tests a new form of human albumin made from rice for people who need urgent treatment for low albumin levels (hypoalbuminemia) or low blood volume (hypovolemia). It aims to provide a safe and effective alternative to current albumin treatments.

Albumin infusion to reduce complications after gastric cancer surgery

This trial tests whether giving albumin (a protein in the blood) during and after surgery can help prevent complications in people with stomach cancer. It is for those who have surgery to remove their tumor and have normal or near-normal blood albumin levels before surgery.

Albumin treatment for advanced cirrhosis with fluid buildup

This trial tests whether a personalized long-term albumin (a blood protein medicine) can help people with advanced liver scarring who have fluid in the belly (ascites). It compares the personalized albumin approach to standard care to see if it improves outcomes over time.

Albumin during surgery for advanced cancer in the abdomen

Recovery of albumin after major liver and pancreas surgery

This trial tracks how quickly your albumin (a protein in your blood) returns to normal after major surgery on your liver, pancreas, or bile ducts, to see if that predicts your recovery. It may help doctors understand how you are healing.
