Who can take part

  • You are 11 or 12 years old and generally healthy
  • You have never received a meningococcal vaccine before
  • You have not been exposed to meningococcal illness
  • You don't have a condition or take medication that weakens your immune system
  • You typically get 9 or more hours of sleep each night (or fewer than 8 hours)
  • You don't drink more than 1 coffee/energy drink per day or 2 caffeinated sodas per day
