Who can take part
- You must be 18 years or older
- You have been diagnosed with metabolic-associated fatty liver disease (MASLD), a condition where fat builds up in the liver not from heavy drinking
- You are able to visit the outpatient clinic at Sohag University's Tropical Medicine Department
- You do not drink more than 20 grams of alcohol per day (women) or 30 grams per day (men)
- You do not have other liver diseases like hepatitis, autoimmune hepatitis, Wilson's disease, or hemochromatosis
- You are not currently pregnant and do not have active infections, cancer, or acute inflammatory conditions
