Who can take part
- You have pain in one or both Achilles tendons that started at least 6 weeks ago
- Your Achilles pain worsens with running, jumping, or walking
- You are between 18 and 64 years old and speak English
- You can commit to a 12-week treatment program
- You have not had Achilles surgery, rupture, or a corticosteroid shot into the tendon in the past 3 months
- You do not have needle phobia, rheumatoid arthritis, or certain neurological disorders
