Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 25 years old
  • You play football at a club level and have for at least one year
  • You have a confirmed tight, painful knot (trigger point) in your calf muscle
  • You have not had calf muscle tears, fractures, or lower limb surgery
  • You are not currently taking muscle relaxants or anti-inflammatory medications
  • You do not have bleeding disorders or take blood thinners
