Digital Prehab Program Before ACL Surgery
Part of Injuries & trauma clinical trials.
This trial tests whether a digital (online) exercise and training program done before ACL knee surgery helps patients recover better and faster. ACL (anterior cruciate ligament) is a key knee ligament, and this study prepares your body before reconstruction surgery.
Summary written for real people, not researchers, by Clin2.
Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 55 years old
- You have a diagnosed ACL rupture (torn ACL ligament in your knee)
- You are scheduled for your first ACL reconstruction surgery on this knee
- You have at least 4 weeks before your surgery date
- You do not have damage to other knee ligaments at the same time
- You do not have serious health conditions that would make surgery risky

This study tests whether a specific exercise program can improve knee health in people who have had ACL surgery. It aims to understand how exercise affects the knee after injury and may help prevent arthritis.
This study tests whether a sports rehabilitation program can help heal two common knee injuries at the same time: a torn anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) and worn cartilage behind the kneecap (patellar chondromalacia). If you have these conditions, the program aims to reduce pain and improve function.
This trial tests whether doing special exercises before ACL surgery (called prehabilitation) helps you recover better after the operation. It's for people who have a first-time ACL tear and are scheduled for reconstruction surgery using a tendon from their own body.
This study looks at whether doing physical therapy before surgery can improve tendon healing, bone density, and joint cushioning after ACL surgery or patellar dislocation surgery. It may help you recover better and faster by optimizing your knee before the operation.
This study looks at how your exercise habits before surgery might affect your knee function and the chance of re-injury after anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction. It aims to help doctors give better advice on post-surgery rehabilitation.
This trial tests whether adding a digital therapy app to regular rehabilitation helps reduce thigh muscle weakness after ACL reconstruction. Participants will use the app on their smartphone alongside standard physical therapy.
