Who can take part
- You are scheduled for your first allogeneic stem cell transplant (a transplant using cells from a donor) for a blood cancer or blood disorder
- You have resolved hepatitis B infection, shown by negative HBsAg and positive anti-HBc blood test results within 30 days before transplant
- You do not have hepatitis C, hepatitis D, or HIV infection
- You do not have advanced liver disease, liver cirrhosis, or history of liver failure complications
- You have not had a previous stem cell transplant or solid organ transplant (kidney, liver, heart, or lung)
- You agree to follow the study's hepatitis B blood test schedule after your transplant
