Who can take part
- Be 60 years old or older
- Have advanced melanoma (stage III or IV) that cannot be removed by surgery, confirmed by biopsy
- Have at least one tumor that can be measured on imaging scans
- Have reasonable overall health (ECOG score 0–2, meaning you can do light to moderate activities)
- Have normal or near-normal liver and kidney function blood tests
- Not have had certain immunotherapy drugs (PD-1, PD-L1, or CTLA-4 inhibitors) in the past 6 months, or if you did, you must have progressed at least 6 months after treatment ended
