- You have been diagnosed with autoimmune hepatitis
- You are 18 years or older
- You can provide written informed consent
- You receive care at the IRCCS S. de Bellis Hepatology Outpatient Unit in Italy
- You do not have liver cirrhosis (advanced scarring of the liver)
- You do not have active cancer or viral hepatitis (hepatitis B, C, or HIV)
