Chemotherapy plus immunotherapy for advanced squamous lung cancer

Who can take part

  • You have histologically or cytologically confirmed advanced (stage IIIB–IV) squamous non-small cell lung cancer that is not eligible for surgery or radiation therapy
  • You have not received any prior systemic (whole-body) cancer treatment for advanced disease, though prior adjuvant chemotherapy is allowed if progression occurred at least 6 months after treatment
  • Your cancer does not have EGFR gene mutations or ALK gene fusions, or your gene status is unknown
  • You have at least one measurable tumor lesion visible on imaging scans
  • You have adequate organ function (normal blood counts, liver and kidney function, heart function, and thyroid function)
  • You are between 18 and 75 years old with an ECOG performance status of 0–1 (able to perform daily activities with minimal restrictions)
