Who can take part

  • You have been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease
  • Your Parkinson's is in early stages (Stage 1 or 2 on the Hoehn-Yahr scale, which measures disease progression)
  • You are currently taking immediate-release levodopa medication (a common Parkinson's drug)
  • You score 26 or higher on the Montreal Cognitive Assessment, indicating normal thinking and memory skills
  • You do not have dementia, other brain diseases, or a history of hearing problems
  • You have no significant history of substance abuse or psychiatric conditions like depression or anxiety requiring treatment
