New radioactive treatment for recurrent brain tumors

Who can take part

  • You have been diagnosed with glioblastoma that has come back after previous treatment
  • Your tumor must be positive for certain markers (CA IX or CA XII) confirmed by imaging or biopsy
  • You are between 18 and 80 years old, in good overall health (ECOG score 0–1), and expected to live at least 3 months
  • You can have a small surgical reservoir (Ommaya) placed in your brain to receive the study drug
  • Your blood counts, liver, and kidney function must be adequate; no active infections or uncontrolled bleeding
  • You have not received recent cancer treatment (at least 2–4 weeks before, depending on the type) and have recovered from any side effects
