Who can take part
- Age 18–74 years old
- Colorectal cancer that started on the left side (from mid-colon to rectum) and cannot be removed by surgery or has spread
- Good overall health status (able to do light activities; ECOG score 0–1)
- Willing to provide a tumor tissue sample (either old tissue from past tests or a new biopsy)
- Stopped all prior cancer treatments at least 2–4 weeks before starting the study
- No brain or spinal cord cancer; any brain metastases must not cause symptoms or have been treated over 4 weeks ago
