Gene therapy trial for Bietti's crystalline dystrophy

Bietti's Crystalline DystrophyBietti Crystalline Corneoretinal Dystrophy

Part of Eyes & vision clinical trials.

This trial tests an investigational gene therapy called ZVS101e for people with Bietti's crystalline dystrophy (BCD), a rare inherited eye disease. It aims to see if the treatment can help slow vision loss or improve vision.

Extended access to ZVS101e for BCD patients

This trial offers compassionate use of the gene therapy ZVS101e for people with Bietti crystalline dystrophy (BCD) who were in the control group of an earlier study. It aims to give extended treatment access to those who didn't receive the experimental therapy before.

Gene Therapy for Bietti's Eye Disease in Second Eye

This study tests whether a gene therapy called VGR-R01 is safe when given to the second eye of people who already received it in their first eye as part of earlier trials. Bietti's crystalline dystrophy (BCD) is a genetic eye disease that causes vision loss over time, and this therapy aims to slow or stop that loss.

Gene therapy trial for ABCA4-related retinal disease

This trial tests a new gene therapy called ZVS106e for people with inherited retinal degeneration caused by changes in both copies of the ABCA4 gene. The therapy aims to slow or stop vision loss, and the study will check if it is safe and if it works.

Gene therapy for Stargardt disease (VG801)

This trial tests a new gene therapy called VG801 for people with Stargardt disease, a genetic condition that causes vision loss. The treatment aims to improve or slow vision loss by delivering a working copy of the ABCA4 gene to the retina.
