- You are between 18 and 75 years old.
- Your health status is rated as American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) I, II, or III (generally healthy or with mild to moderate health conditions).
- You are scheduled for elective (non-emergency) gallbladder removal surgery using laparoscopic (keyhole) technique.
- You do not have a bleeding disorder or take blood-thinning medications.
- You are not allergic to local anesthetics (numbing medicines).
