Pain relief after weight loss surgery: comparing two nerve blocks

This study compares two types of nerve blocks for pain control after laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy (a weight loss surgery). It aims to see which one provides better pain relief and is easier to perform, helping patients recover more comfortably.

NCT07084753Not yet recruiting
Pain control without opioids for weight-loss surgery

This study compares two ways to manage pain during and after your weight-loss surgery: one uses a nerve block (thoracic paravertebral block) to numb the area without opioid painkillers, and the other uses standard anesthesia. The goal is to see if the nerve block method reduces pain and improves recovery without the side effects of opioids.
