Who can take part

  • You must be 18 or older.
  • You must have colorectal or appendix cancer that has spread into the lining of your abdomen, called peritoneal carcinomatosis.
  • Your cancer must be measurable by tests like scans, blood markers, or physical exam.
  • Your doctor must expect you to live at least 12 more weeks.
  • You must be able to take care of yourself most of the day (ECOG performance status 0, 1, or 2).
  • Your kidney, liver, and blood counts must be within certain safe limits—your doctor will check these.
