Who can take part
- You must be Chinese, between 18 and 55 years old, and not have diabetes.
- Your BMI must be 28 or higher (obese), OR between 24 and 28 (overweight) with at least one related health issue like pre-diabetes, high blood pressure, fatty liver, or joint pain.
- You should have followed a diet and exercise plan for at least 12 weeks with little weight change (less than 5% change) and be willing to continue during the trial.
- You cannot have used weight-loss drugs or have had weight-loss surgery in the last 12 weeks.
