Who can take part

  • Be 18 to 55 years old.
  • Be generally healthy (no major medical conditions, such as heart, liver, kidney, or pancreatic disease).
  • Have a BMI within specific ranges (19-28 for the single-dose part; 24-35 for the multiple-dose part).
  • Agree to use reliable birth control during the study and for 3 months after the last dose.
  • Avoid taking any medications (including over-the-counter, herbal, or weight-loss drugs) for at least 2 weeks before the study (and for GLP-1 drugs, 6 months).
  • Have no history of drug or alcohol abuse, and be willing to follow dietary restrictions (e.g., avoid caffeine, grapefruit, alcohol).
