Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 80 years old
- You have liver cancer that cannot be removed with surgery, and the main tumor is at least 7 cm across
- You have a tumor clot in the large vein that carries blood from the liver to the heart (seen on CT or MRI)
- Your liver function is fairly good (Child-Pugh class A or B)
- You have not had any prior cancer treatment for this liver tumor
- You do not have other cancers, drug allergies, autoimmune diseases, recent digestive bleeding, or serious kidney/marrow/clotting problems
