- You are between 18 and 75 years old
- You are having planned laparoscopic gallbladder surgery that needs a drain placed in your belly
- Your body mass index (BMI) is less than 35
- You are generally healthy or have mild to moderate health conditions (ASA I-III)
- You can communicate and rate your pain on a 0-10 scale
