Compare pancreatic cyst checkup programs and test markers

Who can take part

  • You must be 50 to 75 years old
  • You must not have had acute pancreatitis or a history of chronic pancreatitis
  • Within the past 6 months, your CT, MRI, or ultrasound endoscopy (EUS) must have found one or more pancreatic cysts at least 1 cm
  • You must not have had pancreatic cancer before, and you must not have had pancreatic surgery to remove part of it
  • Your cysts must not look like they need immediate surgery (for example: solid parts, an enhancing spot, duct blockage or jaundice, or a widened main duct)
  • You must not have only low-risk cyst types (like a pseudocyst or classic serous cyst) and must not have a first-degree family history of pancreatic cancer
