Plyometric training for strength and balance in children with hemiplegic cerebral palsy

Who can take part

  • Child must be diagnosed with hemiplegic cerebral palsy by a doctor.
  • Child must be between 6 and 10 years old.
  • Child must have mild spasticity (grade 1 or 1+ on the Modified Ashworth Scale).
  • Child must be able to walk with or without help (Gross Motor Function level I or II).
  • Child must be able to follow simple instructions and cooperate during activities.
  • No surgery or Botox injections in the leg in the past 6 months to 1 year, and no uncontrolled seizures or hearing/vision problems.
