  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You are scheduled for planned (elective) heart surgery.
  • You will have a chest X-ray after surgery to check your stomach area.
  • You or a family member can sign a consent form agreeing to the study.
  • You are expected to be in the intensive care unit after surgery.
