Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 90 years old.
- You are in the hospital or emergency department with pneumonia, confirmed by chest imaging and symptoms.
- A lung fluid sample (like a bronchoscopy or suction tube sample) was taken within 48 hours of arriving.
- You can function independently (not bedridden or fully dependent on others for daily care).
- Your life expectancy is at least 3 months (not expected to pass away soon).
- You agree to have your data used (informed consent) and are not pregnant.
