Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older and have chronic hepatitis B (a long-term liver infection caused by the hepatitis B virus).
- You have been on antiviral medication for at least 6 months, or you have not taken any hepatitis B medication.
- You have had a hepatitis B DNA test within the last 6 months, and a leftover sample from that test is available.
- You do not have other liver infections such as hepatitis C, hepatitis D, or HIV.
- Your leftover blood sample is stored properly and has not been thawed and refrozen more than twice.
