Who can take part

  • You must have played in a top-tier soccer league for at least 4 years.
  • You cannot have had any recent illness, muscle or bone problems, or metabolic diseases.
  • You must not have taken any medications or performance supplements (including anti-inflammatories, antioxidants, or vitamins) for at least 6 months before the study.
  • You must be training at least 5 times a week and playing at least 1 match a week.
  • You must be a non-smoker.
  • You cannot have any current muscle or bone injury.
