- Your child is between 5 and 12 years old.
- Your child has a lazy eye (amblyopia) that started after surgery for a cataract they were born with.
- The weaker eye has vision that is worse than 20/100, and the stronger eye has vision better than 20/30.
- Your child had cataract surgery on the lazy eye before age 5 and has had no changes in the eye for at least 2 months after lens implant surgery.
