  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You have a complex kidney stone (large, in multiple parts, or shaped like a staghorn).
  • Your kidney function is fairly good (creatinine level is not too high).
  • You are in generally stable health (able to handle surgery).
  • You do not have a solitary kidney, severe obesity, or an active infection.
