Who can take part
- Your baby is 6 months old or younger.
- Your baby has bronchiolitis caused by RSV and is admitted to the hospital from the emergency room.
- For the control group, your baby is admitted for another reason (like a urinary infection, stomach bug, feeding issues, or other non-respiratory condition).
- You (the legal guardian) must agree in writing to participate.
- Your baby must be registered with a social security scheme.
- Your baby has not received palivizumab or a maternal RSV vaccine.
- Your baby does not have any breathing or ear, nose, or throat symptoms (for the control group).
