Who can take part

  • You must be at least 18 years old.
  • You need to understand the study and sign a consent form.
  • You must be willing to follow the study procedures and be available for the duration.
  • Healthy volunteers must be generally healthy based on medical history, exam, and lab tests.
  • Patients must have a proven or probable mold infection (like aspergillosis or mucormycosis), or other specific mold infections.
  • Women who can become pregnant must use an effective method of birth control.
  • You cannot be pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • You must not have uncontrolled diabetes or lack of adequate veins for an IV.
  • You must be able to lie flat on a PET/CT bed for the scan (no severe claustrophobia, weight under 500 lbs).
