Who can take part
- You must be 18 years or older.
- You must have severe right heart failure within 48 hours of heart surgery, a heart attack, or a heart transplant that does not get better with strong medications.
- Your heart function must meet specific measurements, such as low cardiac index or signs of right heart strain on an ultrasound.
- You cannot be in critical condition requiring immediate emergency life support (INTERMACS 1).
- You cannot have severe liver or kidney problems, active infections, blood clots in the heart, or uncontrolled bleeding risk.
- You cannot be pregnant or breastfeeding, or be in another conflicting clinical trial.
