Who can take part
- You must be 18 years old or older.
- A family member or legal guardian must give written permission for you to be in the trial.
- You must be in the ICU and have a pulse oximeter (a small clip on your finger that checks oxygen levels).
- You must have a very low level of consciousness (GCS score of 8 or less, meaning you are not awake or aware).
- Your ICU stay must be expected to last more than 72 hours (3 days).
