Who can take part

  • You are at least 18 years old.
  • You have advanced prostate cancer that has spread to the bones (at least 4 spots on a bone scan) and you have already received triple therapy (hormone therapy, docetaxel chemotherapy, and darolutamide).
  • You finished docetaxel within 12 weeks of starting radium-223 and did not get worse after completing triple therapy.
  • Your pain from the cancer is none or mild (worst pain under 4 on a 0-10 scale).
  • You are willing to start or continue bone-strengthening medication (bisphosphonate or denosumab) with calcium and vitamin D before the first dose of radium-223.
  • You have adequate organ and bone marrow function (like good kidney, liver, and blood counts).
