Who can take part

  • You have been diagnosed with gestational diabetes (diabetes that started during this pregnancy) within the last 7 days.
  • You are at least 18 years old.
  • You are between 24 and 28 weeks pregnant (or earlier at the time of enrollment).
  • You are pregnant with one baby only.
  • You live in the study area (Thai Binh province, Vietnam) and can speak/read Vietnamese.
  • You are willing to be randomly assigned to a group and follow the study procedures.
