  • You are between 18 and 75 years old.
  • You have type 2 diabetes with chronic kidney disease (moderate to severe kidney damage).
  • Your diabetes and other medications have been stable for at least 3 months, with no planned changes.
  • You are not taking certain medications that raise potassium or interact with the study drug.
  • You do not have other serious health conditions like type 1 diabetes, poor blood sugar control, high blood pressure, high potassium, liver disease, or active cancer.
