Who can take part

  • You are a medical trainee (resident, fellow, or specialist) in pulmonary, critical care, thoracic surgery, or anesthesiology.
  • You have performed 5 or fewer bronchoscopies on your own.
  • You have not taken a formal bronchoscopy simulation course before.
  • You are willing to have your training recorded and share your test scores for research.
  • Or, you are a patient 18 or older scheduled for a low-risk diagnostic bronchoscopy.
  • Your doctor agrees it is safe for a supervised trainee to do parts of your procedure.
