Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 75 years old.
  • You are scheduled for elective lung surgery using a video camera (VATS).
  • Your surgery requires a special breathing tube called a double-lumen tube.
  • Your health status is classified as ASA I, II, or III (generally healthy to mild/moderate disease).
  • You have a recent chest CT scan available for creating a 3D airway model.
  • You do not have severe lung disease like serious COPD, active pneumonia, or asthma flare-up.
