Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older.
- You are scheduled for a planned (not emergency) procedure through the main artery or vein in your groin, using large tubes (8 to 26 French sizes).
- Your groin blood vessel is at least 5.5 mm wide and the depth under the skin is between 1.5 cm and 5 cm, with less than 50% narrowing.
- You do not have a bleeding disorder, severe anemia, or need blood thinners that cannot be paused.
- You do not have an active infection, serious illness, or other conditions that would make the procedure unsafe.
- You can walk on your own (not wheelchair-bound) and have not had previous surgery or stents in the same groin area.
