Who can take part

  • Be 18 years or older.
  • Need a planned (not emergency) heart or blood vessel procedure through the leg.
  • Have a blood vessel in the leg that is at least 5.5 mm wide and not too narrow (less than 50% blocked).
  • Be able to give written consent and follow study instructions.
  • Not have certain health issues, like severe bleeding disorders, uncontrolled high blood pressure, or recent heart attack.
